Batabano is carnival on Grand Cayman. It’s a stunning festival full of colour, music and vibrant costumes which starts at the end of April and continues on until the first weekend in May. Beginning in the 1980’s Batabano has morphed into a huge event which lasts a week.

Great incentive to keep a trim bod, if one has ambitions to take part!
Something I have yet to experience is the whole Carnival atmosphere. Must be great.
